Sheri Doyle leads social media strategy for the Government of Alberta. Specializing in public sector social media and disaster response, she led the province’s social media strategy during the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire and 2017 Southern Alberta wildfires. She also oversees social executions for initiatives like cannabis legalization and the Alberta Budget. Her team has grown the Alberta government’s Twitter presence to become the highest-followed provincial government Twitter account in Canada. She works as a part-time social media consultant and serves on the board of Alberta Forward-an emerging non-profit that will bring Alberta’s young leaders together to discuss the province’s next economy.
